Team World Champions a sure bet for honours
It’s a good job there's no bookies involved at motocross, as you would be sure to get awful odds on the team world champion for honours at the 2026 VMXdN Hawkstone. With the team of Christophe Pourcel, Alessio Chiodi and David Philippaerts joining forces, they’re going to be a tough lineup to beat.
The Women ready to shake up VMXdN
Getting an entry to VMXdN is like a Willy Wonka golden ticket, and we are delighted to welcome a strong line-up of female racers who are not afraid to mix it up with the crème of British MX and the best vet racers in the world.
Charlie Richmond set for Vintage VMXdN Showdown
One of the rising stars of British MX -Charlie Richmond whose day job is racing for the Crendon tru7 Honda squad under the watchful eye of multi time world champion Dave Thorpe (who incidentally will be on hand all weekend as guest of honour celebrating 40 years since his iconic ride at the 1986 GP at Hawkstone enroute to his 2nd 500cc world championship), is heading to VMXdN Hawkstone 2026 on August bank holiday weekend.
Radio 1's Andrew Marston to host VMXdN Hawkstone
The VMXdN is so much more than the bar-to-bar racing on era-correct 2 strokes, all on the most iconic and famous track in the UK- Hawkstone Park. Though that seems a crazy statement, it’s true; the four-day festival has two packed days of racing with the world’s elite vets racers, a bunch of hungry youngsters all on era-correct 2 strokes going at it, but that’s just the daytime Saturday and Sunday entertainment.
Bradshaw steps into the breach for team MTF
Brad Smith forced to bow out of the MTF squad in the international team race at VMXdN Hawkstone. The international teams are always the highlight of the event as the feature race, and with World Champion Stephen Clarke as team captain for the MTF (Millsaps Training Facility) alongside Anthony Rodriguez in the squad, they are sure to be in contention when the gate drops. However, third rider, American Brad Smith, has injured his shoulder in preparation for the defence of his Loretta Lynns title and sadly won't be able to make it across the pond. Team manager Richard Clarke has his replacement on speed dial and instantly secured the services of South African born Neville Bradshaw to represent the squad. Nev has been a staple on the British Motocross scene for the last two decades and, through his impressive online presence, is still shredding and bang up for a battle; just ask Mike Brown, who Nev has kept honest on many occasions-especially on his favoured 125 over the years, giving us all much excitement.
Elliott Banks-Browne completes VMXdN Team GB
Elliott Banks-Browne, a former British champion and GP rider, has signed on to come back to fly the British flag alongside Brad Anderson and Tommy Searle at the most anticipated event on the UK motocross calendar - the 2026 VMXdN Hawkstone, which is to be held at the iconic Shropshire Grand Prix circuit over the August Bank Holiday weekend with gates opening on Thursday, August 27th at midday.
Team Six-Nine is a serious contender for honours
Ronnie Mac is a well-known character in the sport, and when he expressed interest in coming to the premier vets event in the world, there was only one stipulation - there's no just goon riding; he would be here to race. Trust us, he is a very accomplished racer in his own right and is super keen to line up in the International Team Race. Of course, he will be on hand to entertain the crowds all weekend, but when he lines up it's deadly serious; he is most certainly not a weak link in any team lineup. With Honda guru Steve Denton supplying an immaculately prepped CR 250, there's nothing goofy about the speed he goes; just watch.
Team lineup change for the Stolen Yamaha squad
With the Stolen Yamaha team being a regular on the podium in the Wright Engineering National Team Race, both in 2023 when they finished third and in 2024 when they bagged second (do you see where this is going?). For 2025, they got the elusive win and are back in 2026 all guns blazing to hold onto that coveted number one spot.
Dubach takes on the most famous hill in world motocross
American legend and Yamaha Factory superstar Doug Dubach is back for VMXdN 2026. Dubach is a regular at the VMXdN events, having raced at 13 of these events since its inception, and is the only racer to win three classes on one weekend when he was a member of the winning USA squad, the +50 and twin shock classes at the OG vets race formed in 2009. This year the event is in its 17th year but this is the first one to be held at the historic and iconic Hawkstone Park GP circuit in Shropshire.
Team IOM super strong for team race
The McCanney brothers are back and lining up in the international team at the most anticipated Motocross event of 2026, the VMXdN Hawkstone held over the August bank holiday weekend at the iconic and beautiful Grand Prix circuit in Shropshire.
Keith Johnson takes on Hawkstone
Fresh off the biggest weekend of his year, the AMA national Keith Johnson promotes at the legendary Southwick circuit in New England; he will be on a transatlantic flight to race the biggest vets event on the world stage, the 2026 VMXdN Hawkstone, held at the historic and iconic Shropshire Grand Prix circuit over the August Bank Holiday weekend.

Two of the biggest AMCA championship teams, AJP and FUS, are combining forces to tackle the most prestigious vets event in the world, the VMXdN Hawkstone, held at the historic and iconic GP venue in Shropshire.
VMXdN decision time for Tommy Searle
Team GB will again be represented by the 5-time British champion and reigning MX2 British champion Tommy Searle. Searle makes no bones about it; he has been at every event to date and has raced everyone since 2023. It’s obvious to see the VMXdN is his favourite event of the year. He loves to race a two-stroke, and winning motos and standing on the podium in front of the largest crowds in British MX still makes the 37-year-old act like an excited schoolboy racer.
Ronnie Mac set to tear up VMXdN
Uncle Ronnie is heading to Shropshire, and the paddock will never be the same. Ronnie Mac, motocross’s biggest, loudest, most unapologetically larger-than-life character, is chomping at the bit to race at the most prestigious vets event- the VMXdN this year held at the picturesque and iconic Hawkstone Park venue in Shropshire. Known for its rolling Shropshire scenery and brutally demanding terrain, Hawkstone Park is one of the sport’s most iconic venues, and a fitting stage for a man who doesn’t do anything small.
Multi AMA champ joins Team USA
Team USA are coming in swinging and is determined to keep the number 1 plate at the most prestigious vets race in the world - the VMXdN Hawkstone. The four-day extravaganza starts on Thursday, August 27th and goes on to the conclusion of the races on Sunday afternoon, and as it's the August Bank holiday, there's no rush to leave for work. The event has attracted some of the most notable names in motocross history, and this year is no different.
TEAM WALDI LINES UP FOR THE WRIGHT ENGINEERING RACE
